Puzzle reminds youth of what they can do to help the missionaries meet their responsibilities in their work for the Lord. They can read clues and fill in the missing words. Read activity for details.

Group Activity (Missionary Support Review): 
This can be done after youth have filled in the missing words.
1. Write in the missing words on a Missionary Support Crossword Puzzle, then enlarge (photocopy).            2. Carefully cut out the missing words from the puzzle.
3. Mount the puzzle with the missing words on the board. Tape the missing words next to the puzzle on the board, face-up.  
4. Divide young women into two teams.
5. At the word “go,” youth can race to find the word-strips to complete as many sentences as they can. Caution: Ask youth not to pick up the word-strips until they are sure they have a complete sentence. This way both teams can see the words.
6. Ask youth to announce when they have made a match by reverently saying, “Missionary Support.” A completed sentence wins a point for their team. The team with the most points wins!
7. To review, ask the youth to read the completed Missionary Support sentences aloud.

THOUGHT TREAT: M&M Motivators. Have youth share quotes on how to succeed, e.g., on attitude, loving others, friendship, etc. To find them type in Google.com “quote” and the subject. As each quote is read all youth can reach in for another M&M to listen to the next. Plan this ahead.

MISSIONARY “WE CARE” PACKAGE: Send a card or letter and a package to all the missionaries in the ward. Do it assembly-line style with projects laid out on the table for each missionary. Obtain the bishop’s approval of what you are sending. Write“We-Care Package” on the box. Tell the missionary’s parents you are sending a package (in case they have something to enclose)                                                 
Package: Put together a care package with a new toothbrush, gum, candy, handkerchief, tie (buy used or ask young men or priesthood leaders to donate supplies).                                                      
Photos: Take photos of young women holding signs that say, “Hi, Elder/Sister ______,” etc. (brainstorm on what to write).                                         
Tape: Ask youth to find a poem, quote, or scripture they can read after they say, “Hi, my name is ________.”
