POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. PRAYER BLOSSOMS board game. Youth can really learn how prayer helps our relationship with Heavenly Father blossom-and-grow. There are many thorns in the roses of life and we can get past them as we learn to depend on God to guide and protect us and to help us when we are in need. With a bee marker we START at the beginning and move around the board landing on a rose to tell how God blesses, a thorn we tell what to pray about, and a leaf to get instructions.

Play the Game: Follow the rules on the game board to play the Prayer Blossoms Board Game.

RULES: (1) Divide into two teams (play individually or in pairs). (2) Have each team roll the block. The highest number goes first. (3) Place a bee marker on the START position. (4) Take turns rolling the block to determine the number of spaces you move on the board. (5) If you land on a rose tell how Heavenly Father has blessed you or someone else by answering prayer. If you land on a thorn read the situation and tell what you would pray for when you are in that situation. If you land on a leaf read it aloud and if it gives you instructions, follow them. (6) The first to get to FINISH wins.

THOUGHT TREAT: (Prayer Punch). Have youth gather around with a different flavored drink of like lemonade or soft drink for each individual.
