Inspiration

“There are three separate personages in the Godhead: God, the Eternal Father; His Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Ghost. The Father and the Son have tangible, glorified bodies of flesh and bone, and the Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit (see D&C 130:22–23). They are one in purpose and are perfectly united in bringing to pass Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation. – SOURCE The Godhead (see MORE)

“Accept our testimony, which is the same testimony that each of you can bear, that God our Eternal Father lives, our Father, the ruler and the governor of the universe, to whom we may look and with whom we may speak in prayer. Jesus is the Christ, the only Begotten of the Father in the flesh, the Son of the living God, who gave his life to atone for the sins of all mankind. These two visited the earth to usher in this the dispensation of the fulness of times and conferred upon him who became Prophet great and grand keys which are the bedrock of this work. Such is our faith, such is our witness, such is our testimony, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.” – “A Prophet’s Testimony”, Gordon B. Hinckley, First Counselor in the First Presidency (later the Prophet)

Spotlight ideas from President Hinckley’s testimony*: “In These Three I Believe,” as you give youth a fan describing the nature of each member of the Godhead, they can write their testimony of each on the fan, answering the questions. Tell how each personage has His role to bring to pass Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation (Moses 1:39); “to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.” *Click HERE to find the Prophet’s talk in July 2006, Ensign.

TO MAKE Print activity in color or black and white. Punch the bottom right side of the fan to insert a painted or jewel topped paper fastener, or a ribbon or string bow so fan parts move freely.

TESTIMONY MEETING – FOCUS “THE GODHEAD”: Gather youth to have a share your testimony where all can spontaneously bear witness of the personal experiences they have had with prayer, scripture reading, practicing gospel principles that tell that God lives that Heavenly Father is the father of our spirits and Jesus Christ is our creator under the direction of Heavenly Father. He is our brother in spirit-as He is the only begotten Son of the Father. The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead helping us all to know God’s will for us. Testify celestial goals to follow God’s plan and to live with all three personages forever. Through the Atonement this is possible.

GODHEAD SPOTLIGHT: Tell the youth that when they learn about Jesus Christ they learn about Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost. Have a spotlight having three youth or youth leaders tell about the members of the Godhead as three separate beings with the same purpose (John 17:20-23).

MISSING PERSONAGE: Ask youth to write on slips of paper what they would miss if they did not have a certain member of the Godhead, assigning three or more to each personage. If they desire their comments read, they can place them in a container to share. Quote Mark 12:30: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

I am so excited you are doing this website. I’ve been in primary for years and have bought many of your CD’s to help with Sharing time. Now I am in YW with no experience. I’m trying to download your amazing Godhead fan but am unable to. I’m assuming this is something you are working on or already know about. Just hoping I can download it by Saturday. Love your talents, generosity, and creativity! I rely on it greatly!

You will need to purchase them once and they come to your email to download; be sure and download them within the short time span or you will need to order them again. Yes you can print what you need for your classes or FHE or group. Download them one time and keep them in a file for future downloads when needed. You’ll love them!
