To Make Print out a large chart for youth to post in their room and a smaller chart to enclose in their scriptures.

CHAPTER CHECK: Have youth place a checkmark on the petals of each flower for reading that numbered chapter. Or, place one check mark on the flowers for which there is only one chapter to read (when reading).

“BEE” READING: Have youth cut out and glue on a bee sticker for each flower (or Book of Mormon book read) on the LARGE chart. The bees will remind them to “bee” reading daily. Set a goal to have youth read the Book of Mormon within a reasonable period.

DIG DEEP: President Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency said of the Book of Mormon, “I plead with you to drink deeply and often from its pages. It has in it the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the only way home to God.” October 2001 “A Witness”

BOOK OF MORMON PROMISE: Moroni was the last living Nephite who buried the plates in the Hill Cumorah. Hundreds of years later he appeared to Joseph Smith as the Angel Moroni. He told Joseph where to find the plates for which he later translated this message (from Moroni) written for us in our day. Moroni 10:4-5 reads, “And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.”

NOTE FROM LDS.ORG
The Book of Mormon was written for our day. It testifies of Jesus Christ, contains the fulness of His gospel, and restores truths lost through the Apostasy.

JOSEPH SMITH’S TESTIMONY: Joseph Smith, who translated the gold plates from which the Book of Mormon came, had this to say: “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” (History of the Church, 4:461.) • SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY: We have nearly 90,000 missionaries worldwide and we too can contribute. The Prophet Ezra Taft Benson in 1998 in his talk: Flooding the Earth with the Book of Mormon said, “We commend the members of the Church who have participated in the family-to-family Book of Mormon program, placing their pictures and testimonies inside copies of the Book of Mormon. These testimonies have been translated into many languages, and the books have been given away by our missionaries around the world. This is helping to bring in tens of thousands of converts each year.”

More Book of Mormons with testimonies included are needed. See Book of Mormon Testimony & Scripture Underlining . . . READ MORE activity to write and share your testimony.

“HERE’S THE SCOOP” TESTIMONY MEETING: As youth read the Book of Mormon they can have a Banana Split or Sundae Party to share their testimony with each scoop of ice cream being served. If they receive two scoops they share two aspects or portions of their testimony with the group – three scoops, three testimonies. What a sweet activity!

en.wikipedia.orgCONVERT AROUND THE CAMPFIRE: Invite youth to each bring a convert or a conversion story to share with the group. As you roast marshmallows and make Smores, have invited converts and those with conversion stories to share. Whenever the Book of Mormon is mentioned, give them a special marshmallow (like a mint or chocolate) after testimony is given. This will encourage Some-MORE testimonies to grow and be expressed.
