CRAFT ACTIVITY – I Can “Bee” a Friend Friendship Window Wheel
1. Print or copy the activity. As shown, place a paper fastener in the center to turn the wheel.

OTHER ACTIVITY: Form a friendship circle where all children hold hands. Ask each child to name a way they can be a friend. Then have the children walk/move to the left still holding hands and say that action, e.g., “I WILL BE A FRIEND AS I ____________ (saying the action). WAYS: 1) Write a letter, Say, “I like you.” Say, “Hello.” Call them on the phone, Invite them to Primary, Ask them to play with you, Share your lunch.

THOUGHT TREAT:  Chocolate Chip Cookies (as shown on the activity above) or any treat children can share.

SINGING
. Sing “Jesus Said Love Everyone” and “Fun to Do” (Children’s Songbook, 61, 253). Children can use the action cards to show ways they can be a friend (imitate them in the song above).
. Sing “Do As I’m Doing” (Children’s Songbook, 276). Replace words “Do as I’m doing” to “Be a good friend,” and have children do actions like smiling, saying hi, waving, and helping. Children can play Follow the Leader.
