OBJECTIVE:
The lesson helps children understand that they can be good examples for their families. 

ACTIVITY: Ice Cream Sundae
Put together the ice cream sundae by taping pieces onto a blank sheet of paper as shown. Talk about ways to be a good example to their family. Talk about their favorite flavors of ice cream and ways to be a good example as found on the ice cream scoops.

1. Play a match game. Place several sets of ice cream scoops facedown in the center on the floor or table and take turns turning them over to make a match. When a match is made, children share how they can help in this area.
2. Create a poster. Glue bowl onto a piece of cardstock paper, then glue scoops of ice cream onto the bowl and read the messages that will help children scoop up good example deeds. Have them report back to you their experiences.

TO MAKE Print or copy, color, and cut out the activity.
