ACTIVITY: Mirror Message Poster

Help children create a poster that frames a child’s face they can post on their mirror. As they look at the poster on the mirror, they peer through the cutout heart into the mirror to see themselves reflected there. As they read the loving words, “Jesus loves me!” they will truly feel His love.

Tell children, “As you get to know your Savior Jesus Christ, you will know what He has done for you and how much He loves you.” copy, color, and cut out the poster that follows for each child (cutting out the heart inside the poster so the child’s image can be seen through the heart).

THOUGHT TREAT: Heart Cut-out Sandwich or Heart Miniature Sandwiches. Make a sandwich and cut the center out to resemble the poster, or let children eat the miniature cutout heart sandwich.

Chapter 44: Jesus Christ Blesses the Children (Book of Mormon) Christ tells the Nephites to bring their children to him. He offers a prayer that is so marvelous that the words of it could not be written. Christ blesses the children one by one, and they are surrounded and ministered to by angels from heaven.
