$1.50 Little LESSON LIFESAVER Activity for Come Follow Me – Primary and Home (family home evening), LDS, Christian, Bible Study, Sunday School, Seminary

ACTIVITY: Trevor and Trina Truth Sack Puppets
Sometimes it’s not easy, to tell the truth, but if children have their very own Trevor or Trina truth sack puppets, they can role-play truth-telling situations. Put on a puppet show, acting out different situations you might encounter with honesty. See if your audience agrees with your solutions to the situation.

They can even recite the 13th Article of Faith with puppets in hand (shown above and below).

TO MAKE:
1. Print or copy, color, and cut out the Trevor Truth (for boys) or the Trina Truth (for girls) sack puppets that follow for each child.
2. Glue the girl or boy head to the bottom of a small lunch sack, and glue the chin up under the flap. When children move the sack flap up and down, the puppet’s mouth opens to say, “I can be strong and tell the truth.”

THOUGHT TREAT: “Chews” to Tell the Truth (chewing gum)
