2. Glue the four Word of Wisdom Blossom Blessing cards on wooden craft sticks and place them in the soil of a plant or flowerpot.
3. Review the blessings that come from keeping the Word of Wisdom found on the flowers.
4. Water and care for this plant thinking about the Word of Wisdom each day. Imagine how the plant would wilt and die if it were not fed properly or if you watered it with alcohol or caffeinated drinks.
5. As you give it sunshine and water and watch it grow, nurture your own body and keep the Word of Wisdom by getting the proper nutrition, sleep, exercise, and water and avoid harmful substances.

THOUGHT TREAT: (Run-and-Not-Be-Weary Sprouts). Share with youth some bean sprouts or Alfalfa sprouts. These are great on pita bread with cream cheese; then top with sprouts.
Thought: We can really grow or sprout up or get healthier as we keep the Word of Wisdom. We can “And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint” (D&C 89:20). Also read Proverbs 24:10 (we should be strong physically and spiritually so we will not falter in “time of trouble”).
