ACTIVITY DAYS PLANNER

Flip Over Old-Fashioned Games (teach children the classic games Grandma and Grandpa played)
1. Print a copy of and make the Flip Over Old Fashioned Games! book. To make, color and cut out the pages, punch at top, and place two metal rings through holes.

2. Gather material to play games, e.g., jacks, empty can for Kick the Can, etc., shown on cards.
3. Divide up games and organize a Primary activity, creating the invitation with the visual on front of the game book. During the activity, divide children into groups and rotate, playing each game for a specified time. Serve refreshments (see ideas below).
4. Other old-fashioned games: Old Maid, Go Fish, Frisbee, hula hoop, stilts, yo-yo’s, dominoes, checkers, Chinese checkers (with marbles, using caution so children don’t swallow them), Pick-up Sticks, Monopoly, flashlight tag, I Have a Little Doggy, jump-rope rhymes, tic-tac-toe, hopscotch, and Duck Duck Goose.
