ACTIVITY DAYS PLANNER

Gospel Standards Help Me (review Gospel Standards and decorate an object with GS symbols)
1. Print and color the 11 Gospel Standards symbols (shown right displayed on clothing).
2. Glue symbols on a box or sew them on a hat, vest, bag, tie, or ribbon. If gluing on box, cut out the square, not the diamond-shaped tag. If sewing symbols on an object, do the following: Cut out the symbol and words. Glue the symbol to the matching words back-to-back to make a tag. Laminate tags. Paper punch a hole where indicated in each tag. Thread a ribbon through the hole, then tie a bow. Sew the tag onto object.
Note: The meaning of each symbol is written on the back of each tag. Look at these often to help you memorize and live the gospel standards.

THOUGHT TREAT (Gospel Standards Symbol Treats). As you serve each treat, read the gospel standard represented by the symbol (on the tags). Ideas: Symbol 1—Lightbulb (scoop of ice cream on a flat-bottomed cone, add candy face). Symbol 2—Coin (chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil). Symbol 3—Heart (heart-shaped cookies or candies). Symbol 4—Shirt (cookies cut out like modest clothing). Symbol 5—Eye (boiled egg cut in half). Symbol 6—Music Note (candy kiss and pretzels on top of frosted cupcake). Symbol 7—Lip (chocolate candies wrapped in red foil). Symbol 8—Apple Symbol (cut-up apples to dip in caramel sauce or peanut butter). Symbol 9—Scriptures (wafer cookies side by side). Symbol 10—Hand (five olives on right-hand fingertips). Symbol 11—Temple (temple mint).
